In order to stay healthy a hamster needs a combination of
specially prepared hamster
mix, fruits
and vegetables.
Many health problems can arise
if your hamster is not fed a combination of these foods. When
selecting an appropriate hamster mix ensure that it is designed
for hamsters as opposed to other rodents. All types of rodents
have their own nutrient requirements.
If you suspect that your hamster does have a diet deficiency
your first course of action should be to modify their diet
based on our feeding instructions.
If this does not work after a week or two the hamster should
be brought to the veterinarian. Your veterinarian can not
only recommend changes for your hamsters diet but can also
provide injectable nutrients if required.
