Green Tree Frogs
need a variety of insects, including crickets, mealworms,
silkworms, butterworms, etc. Dust the gut-loaded insects with
a calcium supplement daily. Provide a small area with clean
water, changed daily. Feed your Green Tree Frog two or three
times a week, at night. |
Keep the daytime temperature
around 77 degrees F. At night, drop it down to 68 degrees
F. Green Tree Frogs do not require full spectrum
lighting. Use an incandescent bulb for the heat and light.

A glass aquarium works the best,
and it must be tall enough for branches to rise inside. Use
a mulch type substrate, peat moss or sphagnum moss works best.
Keep the mulch slightly dampened. Provide a lot of branches
and a lot of plant cover, real or fake. Cork bark works extremely
well, and should be attached to the back wall. |
