The most noticable characteristic of the Stottish Fold cat is their folded ears. From a distance their ears appear to be very short, however upon closer inspection the Scottish Fold actually has their ears folded forwards. When a Scottish Fold kitten is born its ears initially point straight up. However, within two to three weeks the ears of the Scottish Fold kitten begin to fold forwards.
The Scottish Fold cat is a relatively small cat however the strength of its body in general should be noted. Scottish Fold cats are known for their muscular neck and thighs, it also has a very legs.
As time goes on the Scottish Fold becomes more and more active on the show circuit. These cats are noted for being very tolerable of other household pets which includes dogs makeing the Scottish Fold a great selection for a pet cat.
