Devon Rex

The Devon Rex has a very distinct appearance and is one of the more rare breeds of cats. It originates in England and started appearing in the mid 1960's.

Devon Rex cats are commonly found in shows and due to their rarity can fetch a high selling price. They have relatively small heads with abnormally large ears. Another thing that makes Devon Rex cats popular is the fact that many people with allergies to cats can tolerate having one in their homes.
