In most cases, a Birman
can be distinguished by their bright, large blue eyes. Their
coats are medium length, and surprisingly do not mat. Their
bodies are mostly cream coloured, with their faces, tails
and legs being coloured with a number of different colours.
Some of the common colours include Lilac, Chocolate, Blue
and Seal. Unlike most colour-point cats, the Birmans
paws are white.
Birmans are well known to develop a deep affinity towards
their owners. Breeding of these cats have continued due to
this, and their soft temperament. They are very smart animals,
and also very inquisitive, being interested in everything
happeneing around them. Birmans will need
a lot of attention as they are growing up. |
