The Abyssinian cat is known for
having a slender build with short hair. The colors in this
breed of cat vary but a dark golden color is most common.
Abyssinians have a good temperament in general but do not
like to be cuddled or lay on the lap of their owner. They
are however very friendly, curious and active. Without enough
attention they may appear to become bored so they do like
attention just not affection. Many cats enjoy the company
of others but Abyssinian cats do not appear to mind being
alone since they are very independent.
